Vic: Victoria subsidises other states by extra $110 mill

MELBOURNE, Feb 27 AAP - Victorians will help subsidise other states and territoriesby an extra $110 million in the next financial year.
The increase takes Victoria's overall subsidy to other jurisdictions to a massive $1.09billion a year - or $222 for every Victorian man, woman and child.
Commonwealth Grants Commission figures released today showed Victoria paid the largestpar capita subsidy, followed closely by New South Wales.
Western Australia was also a net donor to the tune of $98 per person.
